There are many important
cultural events in the area around Castiglione del Lago even at an
international level. In the spring there is the tulip festival "Sagra
del Tulipano" and the kite flying festival "Coloriamo i
Cieli". Within the medieval fortress, the Rocca Medioevale,
during the summer various events take place: Rocca Cinema,
national theatre "Rassegna Nazionale del Teatro", and
the "Rassegna Internazionale del Folklore". In the
surrounding villages local and religious festivals zare held. Close to
the farmhouse there are many sport facilities: an inside swimming pool,
an athletic track, football fields, tennis courts, clay pigeon shooting,
motor cross, autodromo, golf, parachuting and water sports
